Galway Oyster Festival

The Galway Oyster Festival is one of the city’s most iconic celebrations, bringing together Galway’s love of oysters, great food, music and good times.

At Kirby’s Restaurant, we joined in the celebrations by shucking fresh oysters outside the restaurant, right in the heart of Galway’s Latin Quarter. Located directly outisde our adjoining bar, Busker Brownes, our outdoor oyster shucking brought the festival atmosphere right to the door.

It’s the perfect way to experience the spirit of the Galway Oyster Festival while enjoying everything that Kirby’s has to offer. Whether you’re stopping by for freshly shucked oysters, joining us for a meal or making a day of it with friends, Kirby’s is right in the centre of the action.
